Concern has been raised regarding sick skaters at the rink.
Flu season is in full swing and it appears to be particularly aggressive this year.

We are seeing many skaters coming in for lessons while not well.
This is dangerous to their health, but also to those that come into contact with them.

An ice rink is a very hospitable place for viruses and bacteria and infectious illnesses tend to spread very rapidly.

We ask that you please err on the side of caution and try and stay away if the skater is not well. This will allow much needed R & R for them as well as help prevent the spread of germs to other skaters and coaches, who in turn come into contact with many more skaters.

Please consult a medical professional for advice as this is merely a suggestion to try and restrict the spread of illness during this time of the year.
