Congratulations to all of our skaters for taking part in the first competition since the Covid-19 Pandemic hit. It has been a year since any of you have competed and the performances over this event have shown that Western Province are on track to retain their dominance over the sport.
A very well done to all and especially those who qualified programs for this year’s National Championships! a special congratulations to our medalists for a job well done. Special mention to the Solo Ice Dance skaters for completing the first official Ice Dance event.
Overall, the level of skating was high considering the challenging 12 month period that has passed. We are very proud of all of our skaters, coaches, officials, organisers, supporters, the Western Cape Department of Sport and especially the parents for supporting their skaters though it all.
