Provincial Championships and Inter-Club Grades event (Grades entry via Club)

Sat : Short Programs (06:00-11:00)
Sun : Finals & Inter-Club Grades . (To be announced)
DRAW: Private Computerized draw
ENTRY FEE: Due to A Grant Received there will be no entry fee for this event
All withdrawals to be notified timeously with a Doctors Certificate
SPECTATORS
R50 per session.
R25 under 12, and Pensioners per session
R25 Club members per session (on presentation of membership card.)
CLOSING DATE: Friday 14th February 2020 at 17:00
No late entries will be accepted.

QUALIFICATION: Ages as at 1/7/19.

Non National: 8 and Under Girls & Boys – no skating skills required for this section
Introductory synchro – 50% of teams required to have skating skills 1
ICE DANCE Section requirements:
- 0 – 1 Skating Skills
- Fiesta Tango
- Swing Dance
- (SOLO DANCE – Boys to skate Boys steps and Girls to skate the Girls steps)
- 2 – 3 Skating Skills
- European Waltz
- Foxtrot
- (SOLO DANCE – Boys to skate Boys steps and Girls to skate the Girls steps)
- 4 – 5 Skating Skills
- Rocker Foxtrot
- Blues
- (SOLO DANCE – The Girls steps to be skated)
SOLO DANCE skaters : May not be entered in solo fee skating or dance couple sections as well.
MUSIC: All music on MP3 to be emailed to shern@icerink.co.za by 21st February 2020
Skaters/coaches to also have a back- up of the music available to hand during the event.
All SAFSA membership subs must be up to date, and the three month rule will be enforced
Photographs will be taken after your first skate free of charge. – Any additional photo’s to be arranged and paid for directly with the photographer.
Please be at the rink at least 30 minutes prior to your section, in case the competition runs ahead of time.
Only well-wrapped items, fluffy toys and wrapped flowers are allowed to be thrown onto the ice
No loose sweets or breakable items permitted.
All skaters will receive a certificate of participation after their skate, and the podium places a medal.
